Research Methods and Statistics

Data Management

I am dedicated to detecting and correcting corrupt or inaccurate records from a record set, table, or database. The process of data cleaning includes data auditing, specification, execution, post-processing, and controlling. I use new methods--parsing, data transformation, duplicate elimination, and statistical methods. By analyzing the data using the values of mean, standard deviation, range, and clustering algorithms, we can find values that are unexpected and erroneous.

Tests for Reliability, Validity, and Power Analysis

Reliability Tests:

  • Cronbach’s alpha

  • Test-retest

  • Split-half

  • Inter-rater

Validity Tests:

  • Content

  • Construct

  • Criterion

  • Internal

  • External

Statistical Analysis Interpretation, Tables, Graphs

I can design and perform the required statistical analyzes. I am also an expert in statistical analysis such as t-test, ANOVA, traditional regression, logistic regression, MANCOVA, factor analysis, and more advanced statistical techniques such as structural equation modeling (SEM), hierarchical linear modeling (HLM). I am an expert in statistical programming languages such as the Statistical Package for the Social Science, Version 24.0, SPSS.

Methodological Design

When you describe your methods it is necessary to state how you have addressed the research questions and hypotheses. The methods should be described in enough detail for the study to be replicated, or at least repeated similarly in another situation. Every stage should be explained and justified with clear reasons for the choice of your particular methods and materials. There are many different ways to approach the research that fulfills the requirements of a dissertation. These may vary both within and between disciplines. It is important to consider the expectations and possibilities concerning research in your field. You can do this by talking to your tutors and looking at dissertations written by former students on your course.

Quantitative Analysis and Research Design Research Methodology

My quantitative dissertation help will determine the methodology for the study that you plan to conduct. For example, what should the sample size for my particular research be? Which technique should we apply to the data? Research Design: Professional dissertation consulting will assist you in the research design phase of your research. The type of research design that you use to test your hypotheses is important for finding reliable and valid results; dissertation statistics help is needed to make this decision and to present justification for it.

Selection of the Variable: Variables are selected by the predetermined theory that is statistically tested. Statistical expertise is needed when selecting the variable.

Sample Size Calculation Using Power Analysis: Guidance on the use of G*power to use alpha, power, effect size and planned statistical procedures to estimate the minimum sample size needed for your project!

Justification: Statistical expertise and help needed when selecting the sample size. If the sample size is small, the statistical test will not give accurate results. If the sample size is too large, then it will be more time consuming as well as costly. Dissertation statistics help can be used to determine your sample size and to present justification for it.

Test Statistics: Quantitative dissertation consulting will assist in determining the test statistics for particular data and research questions. There are some statistical tests used for specific reasons. The professionals at Statistics Solutions are experts in a large variety of these statistical tests.

Validity and Reliability of the Statistics Results: In any research, simply conducting the analysis is not enough. Statistical expertise is needed to effectively test that the results are both reliable and valid.

Interpretation of the Results: Dissertation consulting is needed to accurately interpret the results of the research and to present these results in the appropriate form.
